Welcome!! My name is Sajan Subedi, a nature photographer. I started photography in 1997 from a small compact camera. In the same year, I brought a SLR camera. However, the SLR camera for a person without any formal photographic training was quite difficult. I started to take photographs using "hit and trial" method and reading different photographic manuals, looking at the photographs taken by some professionals and asking professionals. Later on I got a chance to participate in a photographic training which enhanced my knowledge about photography a lot and that also encouraged me to work on Nature Photography.

One of the major point to work on the nature photography is being the student of plant science. While working on nature photography, I realized that the nature is not entirely plants and animals. To become a true nature photographer one need to have the knowledge of all the fields of natural science and that is next impossible thing to do. Through nature photography, I am learning about the natural science and trying to understand the beauty and complexity of the nature.

Apart from nature, I also do some photography on monuments and people. This is another vast area in photography in which I am completely unknown. However sometimes I take risk to shoot these things in which I am completely unknown and new.
